Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL FAQS

We are membership based website founded by two geeks. We feature artistic nudes of the human figure with a geek spin.  We prove that Nerds and Geeks aren’t just smart, they are beautiful, powerful and SEXY!!

Members gain access to the photo galleries and blogs catered to their desires and membership type.  All members gain access to member only sections of our Discord Chat where they will gain access to exclusive content and can converse with our Deities and members.

Pricing varies based on the membership package you choose.

  • MyGeekGoddess(Femme Content Only) and MyGeekGods(Masc Content Only) are each only $9.95 a month.
  • A full MyGeekGlory(The Whole Pantheon with everything from Femme to Masc and in between) membership is $14.95 a month

All of our Deities are actual nerds and/or geek who enjoy dressing up in costumes and then taking those costumes off for your enjoyment. We have dozens of Deities all over the USA as well as several Deities in other countries . New Deities are added frequently aa we are actively recruiting Goddesses, Gods and non-binary Deities

  • MyGeekGoddess updates 3x a month with new sets.
  • MyGeekGods updates with one set update per month.
  • MyGeekGlory updates weekly with a minimum of 4 set updates per month.

MyGeekGoddess is an established site that has been around since 2012 and has the membership levels to support more content production.

When deciding to launch MyGeekGods and MyGeekGlory we were left with 2 options.

  1. Pay the Gods less and launch more sets
  2. Make sure the Gods are paid exactly the same as the Goddesses and launch fewer sets.

Many sites/companies pay masc performers lower rates and treat them as second class to their femme performers.  We don’t believe in this practice and wanted all our Deities to get the same appreciation, respect and payment.

Ultimately we felt we had only one real choice and we have faith that our members and fans will agree it was the right one.

As we grow we plan to add additional updates for each membership package.

The number of photos varies by set.  Sets are generally at least 20-25 images.  Some of our older sets are much larger.  The Deity begins the set in costume and ends it “out of costume”.

At this time we do not have videos on the site. We always look to find new ways to have fun and may considering adding them in the future when the time is right.

Yes!! Members can join our Discord and gain access to member only areas where they can converse with the Deities. Ask them questions or just share in their love of geeky things.

There are two ways to purchase prints of our lovely Deities. If you visit us at a one of our convention appearances you can purchase prints directly at our booth. If you can’t make it to an event you can visit our store to purchase prints and more.

Unlike most other websites you’ll find out there MyGeekGlory is 100% women owned (Technically one femme and one non-binary). We were founded in 2012 by two nerdy geeks; Oracle and Jessica Nova.

DEITY AND PROSPECTIVE DEITY FAQS

All of our Deities are real geeks and/or nerds. They aren’t versed in all geeky matters but they have at least one nerdy or geeky area they are passionate about. Examples could include comics, anime, movies, books, science, technology etc.

Prospective Deities will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and will need to include 3-5 pictures. These do not need to be nudes, but we do need to get an idea of your look and hopefully what costumes you might have available for sets.

Yes! We love beautiful people, all beautiful people in all shapes, sizes and colors. We have models with tattoos and piercings. We have curvy Deities, thin Deities and we are always looking for diversity. If we wanted all our Deity to look the same we’d have only one.

If you do have piercings and/or tattoos it is good to note that in some cases these will be photo shopped out for the sake of the character, or they may remain in all their glory.

All bodies are beautiful bodies, and we view aides as an extension of that. What we are looking for are nerds wanting to share their love of fandoms.  Any Deity who needs an aide to capture their magic is encouraged to use it during shoots.

Prospective Deities will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and will need to include 3-5 pictures. These do not need to be nudes, but we do need to get an idea of your look and hopefully what costumes you might have available for sets.

YES. We consider ALL bodies, good bodies. Part of why we wanted to expand and upgrade MyGG is to remove the  accidental implied stigma that one had to be cisgender to be a part of the pantheon.

We welcome all deities. All. Deities. Do you identify as trans? Apply. Do you identify as trans but have no intention to have any surgeries? Apply. Are you nonbinary? Apply. Are you genderfluid? Apply.

The answer is always yes. Anyone can apply, you have a home here. Our Olympus is a safe space for all Deities to be seen and heard.

Our determining factors have always been about the deeper you; your reasons for wanting to be part of our team, your nerdy, geeky hearts, and your ability to create and work within the world we have built.

Use our Online Form to Apply.

We do our best to review applications on a monthly basis.

Please know that there are times of the year when responses could take longer; every application will get a response.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Before you can turn in your first set or get a login to the site you will need to complete your new Goddess paperwork.

We’ll need:

1. A completed and signed copy of your 2257 Compliance Form: the government requires us to keep records proving our Goddesses are all 18 and older.

2. Two forms of ID: One of these ID’s must be a valid picture ID (we prefer a Driver’s License or Passport). You can send us a clear High Resolution photo or a high resolution scanned copy. Full instructions will be sent with acceptance emails.

3. A W-9 Tax Form: We can’t pay you without one on file.

4. Goddess Code of Conduct: This document makes clear the expectations between MyGeekGoddess and the Goddesses.

5. NDA: Goddesses gets early access to confidential information that is not ready for public consumption. This form allows us to share such sensitive information with you.

All of the necessary forms, along with instructions will be included in your acceptance email. Only the 2257 will need to be printed out for completion. The other forms will be sent for digital submission.

Once we have all the completed paperwork on file you will be given a login granting access to the MyGeekGoddess website. Keep in mind, you are not a full Goddess yet, that only happens when your first set goes live.

If we have not received the necessary paperwork within one month your acceptance may be temporarily frozen. After 2 months you will need to re-apply.

Once we have your paperwork you’ll have up to 6 months to turn in your first set.

If you change your mind we won’t stop you. Our Goddesses are welcome to move on at anytime.

IMPORTANT: Once a set has been accepted for launch it can’t be pulled back, even if it hasn’t gone live. This policy is in place out of respect for our Photographers.  They don’t get paid for their hard work until the set launches just like our models. If you decide to leave while you have a set in queue you will still be paid for that set once it launches. We will never withhold payment from you even if you decide to hang up your cape.

If you have any doubts about becoming a part of MyGG we encourage you to think long and hard about joining. We want all of our Deities to have fun and enjoy the experience. Making the choice to take your clothes off online, however, should never be taken lightly.

We are happy to look at your set as soon as we have all your paperwork completed and on file.

We have pre-approved photographers and we would always recommend these photographers first whenever possible.

We’ve picked these photographers both for the safety of our Deities and the quality of the imagery on our site. If we don’t have a photographer in your area please let us know and we’ll see what we can do. We are always on the lookout for new photographers that can be added to the list.

We don’t recommend shooting with a non-approved photographer, but ultimately the decision is up to the you. If you decide to shoot with someone else please know that this could cause your set to be rejected. We just can’t guarantee the quality of a photographer who hasn’t been vetted and we always want our Deities to look their best.

We are happy to look at a photographer’s portfolio and give you an honest opinion before you shoot.

Applications are only viewable by select MyGG staff members and will not be shared publicly. Any forms or information you submit will be kept strictly confidential.

IMPORTANT: No staff member or photographer will every ask you for your login information or for you to send nude photos to them via email. If you get an email like this forward it to us and we’ll handle it. We encourage you not to respond for your own protection.

Currently MyGG has two full time staff members, the founders, Jessica Nova and Oracle.

Federal law requires that all models and photographers must be over 18 at the time of the photo shoot. There are absolutely no exceptions. Before you can appear on the website we must have proof of your age and identity on file in order to comply with these regulations.

We need TWO of the following IDs. One must be a valid Photo ID that shows your birth date.

  • Government-issued Photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport.
  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card (US Citizen’s only)
  • School ID (public state school)
  • National insurance card.
  • Military ID

We prefer to receive your ids as a single scanned document. If you have access to a scanner please scan both IDs as one file by scanning them at the same time. You should use a scan resolution of at least 300ppi and label the file YourName_scanID.jpg

Another option is to take a clear and legible photo of your IDs. If possible please photograph them both together. Label the file YourName_photoID.jpg. Please ensure that both IDs will be legible when printed. If we can’t get a printed copy we may have to request another picture.
The Government also requires that the copy of your IDs be signed by you, to prove they are your IDs. This can be done by making a photocopy and then signing it. You can also sign a piece of paper and place the IDs on top of it when scanning/photographing.

If you are unable to send an electronic copy you can mail a photocopy to an address we will provide.

IMPORTANT: Your ID scan, photo or photocopy must be CLEAR and LEGIBLE. The government is just very particular about that.

MyGG would never place your photographs on our website without your permission. And that’s exactly what the model release form does.

If you have any questions about the form please don’t hesitate to ask.

Model Releases are included in the original acceptance email and will be sent out for signature with every accepted set.

All Model Releases can now be digitally signed through your computer or even on your phone.

The Model Release is 2 pages long. Make sure to read both pages.

  • Enter the date and your name at the top of the form.
  • Under Section 1 enter the date your photos were taken as well as the Deity Name you will be using on the site.
  • Initial at the bottom of each page.
  • Fill out the section at the bottom of page 2 completely.

Yes you do. We need permission each time before your photos will appear on the website.

The Intellectual Property release form is a separate form that grants permission from the photographer so that we can post your images online. If you choose to shoot with a pre-approved photographer then you don’t need to worry about this step, they already know what to do.

If you shoot with someone else you will need to have your photographer contact us before you shoot. We need to have them review the photographer form before they shoot to make sure everything will go smoothly if you set is accepted.

The W9 is a tax form that is required by law so that we can pay you. We can’t accept your set or pay you until we have it.

This form is only required for US Citizens. If you are a citizen of a different country it is not required.

It is important to note that the United States Federal Government does require us to report any models that are paid $600 or more in one calendar year.

If this is the case you will receive a 1099 tax form and need to report the income on your taxes.

This form will be sent with your new Deity paperwork for digital completion.

Remember that this form is required by the US Government. Please use your full real name and address. This should be the same location where any payment checks will be mailed.

Photo Sets are a collection of  60 or more photos featuring a Deity.

Set should start with the Deity fully clothed and end with them fully nude. It should be taken in one session with the same outfit, theme and setting. A change in location is allowable during the set if it fits the narrative and transitions well.

While we require 60 or more photos for a set we highly recommend that you take many more. This allows your photographer to pick out only the best of the best. If the picture isn’t great then we won’t use it, and if there aren’t enough great photographs we may not be able to accept the set.

*IMPORTANT* You must be 18 years old at the time your set is taken. In other words, if someone took pictures of you before you turn 18 we don’t want them and WON’T use them.

Yes. Images should be reasonably broken down between clothed shots, shots in various stages of undress and fully nude shots. At least 1/3 of the images should be nude. Deities need to end up fully nude. Depending on the costume you may leave on items such as shoes, gloves and belts in some or even all of your nude shots. Exposed chests and tushes are a must. Our photographers will make sure you look GREAT!

Our goal is to be a classy nude site. We do not require overly explicit or pornographic poses. In case this isn’t clear… we don’t require you to spread your legs, we definitely don’t want you touching yourself in that special way, and there is definitely no penetration of any kind. If you really must do that kind of modeling MyGG is not the place for you to do it.

How much or your pelvic/genital area you feel comfortable showing for the camera is up to the individual Deity.

First and foremost, have fun, it will show through in your pictures. We also encourage you to be creative, our members love it when a set has an implied story instead of just “this character getting naked”. While we realize that’s not always possible you should put some thought into your location and what you are going to do. If you are shooting with an approved photographer they can often help in this regard.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your hair and make-up are camera ready. Our photographers are there to take pretty pictures not to apply your make-up. And you want to have good hair and make-up. If you aren’t experienced with applying makeup for photography a general rule is to apply a more than you think you’ll need. It never shows up quite as dramatic as you thought it would.

In some cases, such as special events, Jessica Nova maybe be available to help with makeup. Not sure what to do for a certain character? Jessica Nova will happily walk you through it as she’s a trained make up artist. You should also feel comfortable asking your fellow Deities as we are all here to help each other be the best we can.

We may sound like a broken record at this point but if you shoot with a pre-approved photographer you don’t have to worry about it, they already know what to do. If you decide to go a different route here are some general guidelines.

  • Your photos must be shot using a digital camera, preferably at the highest resolution available.
  • You don’t need to photo shop your pictures before sending them in, in fact we prefer you don’t. We can review and accept a set before editing is complete.
  • Lighting is crucial for a good set. Natural lighting is often easiest. If shooting outdoors, early morning and evening are best. A reflector is always a big help too.
  • Include a variety of shots. Play with angles, close-ups, full body shots and poses. Variety will make your set stand out. No one wants to look at 60 copies of the same photo. Mix it up. And don’t forget facial expressions. It’s often good to practice in front of a mirror to know what expression looks best on you.
  • Practice poses before you shoot. This is especially important if you don’t have a lot of modelling experience. Practice in front of a mirror to get an idea of how you look best.
  • Seamless/studio backdrops: They are just dull and boring and in nearly all cases will be rejected.
  • Bad wigs! Yes we know you might be wearing a wig, but a bad wig can ruin a set. Not sure what makes a bad wig vs a good wig? Ask! Nova has been styling wigs for years and would love to answer any questions you may have.

Too Explicit!- Please do not submit overly graphic sets. Your set should be tasteful nude pin-up, it can border the erotic but should not be porn.

If you are working with an approved photographer they will take care of it. Otherwise you will need to arrange to upload the set. Instructions will be provided.

Response times will vary based on the number of sets currently under review and the time of year. We will always try to respond as quickly as possible but their are times when it could take a month or more to receive an answer. Once your set has been reviewed you will receive an email letting you know.  Accepted sets will receive paperwork and may not receive a separate email.   Rejected sets will be notified regarding improvements that can be made if you wish to reshoot.

*IMPORTANT* we keep a running list of sets in the Deity section. This includes sets that we have received , sets under review and accepted sets.

At this time there are 2 options for editing.

MyGG can edit your set in house.   If you or your photographer wants to edit your please see the editing section for more information.

Members are welcome to apply to be a MyGG.

Models are paid for accepted sets only after they have gone live on the website. We will always aim to pay you as fast as possible, ideally the Monday after your set launches. We will never pay you more than 30 days after the launch of your set.

At this time we have two methods for payment available:
Check: Your payment will go out via check to the address that was supplied to us. This is the preferred payment method
Paypal: If you provide us with a paypal account we will send your payment electronically. This payment method is only available for our international goddesses.

Our current rate for all Deities, regardless of gender identity, is $250/set.

Once your set goes live it will automatically post to the front page. After a few weeks it will no longer appear on the front page but will be accessible through the gallery and on your profile page.

MyGG owns all rights to your photographs once a set has been accepted and paid for. If the set is not accepted ownership stays with the photographer and/or model.

As a paid membership site we can’t allow sets to be displayed elsewhere. We do understand that models and photographers may want to use the images in their portfolio, online and elsewhere. Please see your paperwork for details.

IMPORTANT: The terms and conditions on many sites (such as facebook) may prohibit you from posting nude images. Please keep this in mind before posting a picture from you set. Failure to do so could result in your facebook account being suspended or deleted.

You will officially become a Deity on the day that your first set goes live.

MyGG considered this question long an hard. After less debate than you’d expect we are happy to announce that we will not be requiring our models to remain exclusive. There are only so many sets we can post on our site and we just don’t feel right limiting their income potential. There is, however, one tiny little catch.

If a set has been accepted by MyGG you can’t sell it to another site. Once a set has been accepted it is now owned by MyGG and not the Deity or the photographer.

Otherwise you are welcome to work for other sites, even if they are competitors, and you are certainly welcome to have your own personal paid website.

Really and truly, we aren’t joking.

We hope that the attention and care you receive from MyGG will keep you coming back to us and offering us the best of you. But if we can’t use a particular set we aren’t going to keep you from going elsewhere.

IMPORTANT: Many other sites do have exclusivity clauses for their models. While we may not mind if you work with them, they may have a problem with you working for us. If this happens we hope you choose MyGG where we will always strive to give you the best options to fulfill your potential.

If you already have a contract with another company make sure you check it before applying. While it won’t affect your acceptance with us we wouldn’t want you to cause problems for yourself.

At this time the only way to change the photo on your Deity profile would be to email us the new photo.

No. We can’t allow a change in your MyGG name once it’s been chosen. There are a lot of reasons that include technical aspects of the site and such. But even more important…. once your fans know you by one name, why would you want to confuse them.

No. Once your set is accepted MyGG owns the rights. This prevents you from selling, or even granting rights to anyone else. Keep in mind, we do allow you to use a few images for personal promotion and your portfolio.

At this time we have three pre-approved photographers. If you do not see a location near you please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

  • Oracle – Central Florida
  • Brenin Hurley- Georgia
  • Faylin Lynx – NJ/Tri-State Area
  • CandyLust- Los Angeles

You DON’T !!! Unlike some other sites, MyGG will pay your photographer directly and you don’t have to worry about a thing. All the money that you are paid will stay with you… until you spend it :).

Most likely your Photographer. Any sets that aren’t accepted by MyGG revert back to the original owner. Depending on the agreement with your photographer this may be you, or them.

We take your safety seriously. To this end, there are some things you should never reveal through your profile, blog, the forums, or even your personal social media site (If you have one for your Deity persona).

  • Real Name
  • Address
  • City (We’d recommend sticking to state unless you live in a large metropolitan area. For example, living in New York City doesn’t really tell anyone anything).
  • Personal/Private information you aren’t ready for the whole world to know. Members can talk, among themselves and with strangers. Keep that in mind before airing any dirty laundry.
  • Problems with any members, fellow Deities or MyGG staff. We hope everyone will get along, but every once in a while disagreements happen, after all, we are all human. Rather than causing a public scene we ask that you come directly to staff and we’ll do every within our power to resolve the problem.

Don’t take matters into your own hands. Contact MyGG staff immediately and we’ll handle the problem. If you are working a booth at a convention report the problem directly to the Admin on shift.

Lets be honest. Begging is just tacky, and we are all about being classy. Nothing is more uncomfortable than a beggar asking for your change, and you don’t want to come across like that. This means you should not be approaching members for money or presents.

We understand costumes can be expensive and sometimes members might want to help out their favorite model. For this reason we do permit Deities to display a wish list on their Profile. If a member decides that they would like to purchase an item from this list or make a donation towards it they can do so by sending it to MyGG directly (remember, we don’t give out Deity addresses)

Although not currently possible, we may permit Deities to sell extra content directly to members through the website. This will ultimately depend on whether it will provide a benefit both to our members and our Deities. It has to be good for both before we can make it happen.

Yes. Some models get recognized, some don’t. Where you are is going to be a big determining factor. Getting recognized at a convention is much more likely than getting recognized while buying groceries. But it could happen. This is why it is so important to make sure you are comfortable appearing nude online.

No. While you have our sympathies if you get caught in such an awkward bind we can’t remove a set once it has hit the site. While we will never divulge your true identity we can’t guarantee that people won’t find out. If it is really that big of a fear that your family might find out I would reconsider getting naked on the internet.

Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions at admin @ mygeekgoddess.com

While we will be sad to see you go, that is your right. You are welcome to leave us at any time. We will not remove your past photo sets or your Deity name which will still be listed with them.

PHOTOGRAPHER FAQS

To ensure the safety of our models as well as the quality of the photography MyGeekGlory carefully picks the photographers that will recommend to our Deities.

If you are interested in becoming a photographer please begin by checking the current list of photographer locations. If we do not have a photographer in your location this increases your chances we could use your services; especially if we have Deities in your area. You should also be sure to notify us of any areas you would be will to travel to for a shoot.

Before we can recommend you to our Deities we will need to see a portfolio of your photographic work. If you have experience with nude photography this will be taken into account. There is a significant difference between making a clothed model look beautiful and making a naked one look and feel great.

To ensure the safety of our models we may also request a reference from a model you have worked with in the past. This could be a Deity or another model that is willing to provide such a reference.

**IMPORTANT** If the main reason you want to work with us is because you want to take pictures of naked people then you aren’t what we are looking for. We are looking for professional photographers not horny hobbiests looking for some excitement. If you are a professional that is comfortable around nudity and works well with models, then you may be a good fit.

Unless you can provide us with what we consider a valid reason for your desire to shoot one over the other photographers will be expected to be willing to shoot both Gods and Goddesses.  MyGeekGlory is very inclusive and will not accept reasons based on discrimination or sexuality.  If you want to only shoot girls because you are only attracted to girls or vice versa then you aren’t the kind of photographer we want.   We are creating art and your own arousal should not determine whether you can produce a quality product.

We generally recommend that our Deitie’s shoot with photographers that have already been approved by MyGeekGlory. If your friend trusts you to make them look good we are willing to give you a chance. Please keep in mind that the photos you turn in will have to stand up to the quality our members expect or the set won’t be accepted.

A Photo Set is a series of 60 or more pictures. The set should start with the Deity fully clothed and end with them fully nude. It should be taken in one session with the same outfit, theme and setting. A change in location is allowable during the set if it fits the narrative and the transition works.

While we require 60 or more final photos for a set we highly recommend that you take many more. This allows us to pick out only the best of the best. If there aren’t enough great photographs we may not be able to accept the set. We would prefer that a photographer turn in no less than 200 RAW photos. We’ll narrow down the final set from there.

*IMPORTANT* You must be at least 18 years old at the time you shoot the set. No exceptions.

First and foremost, the Deity should have fun, it will show through in the pictures. If they are uncomfortable in anyway this will also show through and may get a set rejected. So make sure they are comfortable with you.

We encourage you to be creative; our members love it when a set has an implied story instead of just “this character getting naked”. While we realize that’s not always possible you should put some thought into the location and what the Deity is going to do.

*IMPORTANT* Please make sure that the models hair and make-up are camera ready. While we will be editing the photos the model should still show up prepared just like any other shoot.

Here are some general suggestions

  • Photos must be shot using a digital camera, preferably at the highest resolution available and in RAW format. Unless you are shooting with a Canon or Nikon camera please convert them to uncompressed TIFF files before sending them in. We don’t have software for every camera manufacturer.
  • You don’t need to edit the photos before sending them in, in fact we prefer you don’t. We can approve sets before seeing them edited.
  • Lighting is crucial for a good set. Natural lighting is often easiest. If shooting outdoors early morning and evening are best. A reflector is always a big help too. If you are shooting indoor with lights please make sure your color settings are properly set.
  • Include a variety of shots. Play with angles, close-ups, full body shots and poses. Variety will make the set stand out. No one wants to look at 60 copies of the same photo. Mix it up. And don’t forget about facial expressions.
  • seamless/studio backdrops: They are just dull and boring and in most cases will be rejected.
  • Bad wigs! Pay attention to what may be happening with any wig the model may be wearing.
  • Too Explicit!- Please do not submit overly graphic sets. The set should be tasteful nude pin-up, not porn. We don’t allow any sexual activity up to and including penetration. Keep it clean and classy.

We are happy to edit your photos for you but if you wish to edit them please follow the guidelines in the Editing section.

At this time photographers do receive a small editing payment that will be covered when you contact us.

Photos should be shot at the maximum resolution in RAW format. They can be converted to uncompressed Tiffs before sending them to MyGeekGlory however they must remain full resolution. As we will be selecting the photos that will appear on the site from those provide there is no specific numbering scheme required at this time.

Instructions will be provided upon approval as a photographer.

Response times will vary based on the number of sets currently under review and the time of year. We will always try to respond as quickly as possible but their are times when it could take a month or more to receive an answer. Once your set has been reviewed you will receive an email letting you know.

Of course, just make sure to tell us what name to use.

There is no limit to the number of sets you can submit, however please make sure that each is in it’s own folder.

It is also important to note that variety is the spice of life. If you turn in multiple sets of a single model and they are accepted their release will be broken up.  This will delay payment;  payment is made upon a sets launch.

MyGeekGlory owns all rights to the photographs once a set has been accepted and paid for. If the set is not accepted ownership stays with you unless some other arrangement is made between you and the Deity.

The necessary paperwork will be sent to you for digital signature when and if a set is approved.

This is a form that all photographer’s must sign for each set. It transfers ownership of the photos to MyGeekGlory. We can’t release a set, or pay you for it until we have the signed form.

The W9 is a tax form that is required by law so that we can pay you. We can’t accept any sets or pay you until we have it.

This form is only required for US Citizens. If you are a citizen of a different country it is not required.

It is important to note that the United States Federal Government does require us to report any photographers that are paid $600 or more in one calendar year. In this case you will receive a 1099 tax form and need to make sure to report the income on your taxes.

Photographers are paid for accepted sets only after they have launched on the website. We will always aim to pay you as fast as possible, ideally the Monday after the set launches. We will never pay you more than 30 days after the launch of your set.

At this time we have two methods for payment available:

  1. Check: Your payment will go out via check to the address that was supplied to us.
  2. Paypal: If you provide us with a paypal account we will send your payment electronically. This is only available for international photographers.

While the images on the MyGeekGlory website will only be offered at screen resolution we may use certain images from a set for prints, merchandise and books. For this reason we need full resolution copies.

Pre-Approved Photographers are individuals that have been individually vetted by MyGeekGlory Deities and staff. They have proven to that they can consistently shoot sets that live up to the quality standards our members expect. They are also recommended by our Deities; know first hand that they are professional and easy to work with.

Pre-Approved photographers are chosen only after they have proven they have what it takes. This generally means a proven portfolio, multiple accepted sets and a good recommendation from one or more Deities.

Please do not approach any Deities directly to offer your services. If you are interested in making yourself available as a potential photographer please contact MyGeekGlory directly and provide us with a link to your online portfolio. Preference will always be given to photographers with a proven portfolio and experience shooting nudes.

MyGeekGlory takes the respect and safety of our Deities very seriously. Nothing is more uncomfortable than a stranger asking you to take pictures of you with your clothes off. The photographers we choose to recommend are professionals first and not just people interested in taking pictures of hot naked bodies. If you are the former we want to hear from you. If you are the later…. we don’t.

PHOTO EDITING FAQS

If your set is accepted we will be happy to edit it for you. If prefer to edit the set yourself you are welcome to give it a try. Please keep in mind the editing must match the quality of the editing in our other sets.

Talk to your Deity either before, during or after the shoot to find out what things they would prefer be edited out. Some may want scars and tattoos edited out, some may be fine leaving them in. We want our Deities to look like real people… overly smoothing skin and the like should be avoided. In the end you should just have a better version of your photo that still looks like the Deity.

Unless you have used special colored lighting for a specific effect a good place to start when checking the accuracy of colors is the whites of the Deities eyes or teeth. If these aren’t white (or at least close) then you Deity either needs to visit a doctor or your colors are off.

We recommend using LightRoom for color correcting… If you are unfamiliar with this program you may want to let us do the editing.

Good editing should correct obvious imperfections like dark circles or skin blemishes but it shouldn’t go to far. The end result should still show the texture of the skin. While our Deities may be Gloreous they aren’t Barbie and Ken Dolls and shouldn’t look like they are made of plastic.

If you don’t know how to use the various healing and cloning tools to remove blemishes while maintaining the overall skin texture….. let us do the editing for you.

It is important that your photos be in focus. The eyes are generally the best place to check for proper focus. Sharpening can be used to make an already focused picture pop just that much more. Make sure not to overdo it though.

Check the background for obvious distractions like outlets, cords or blemishes on the walls that can make the picture look sloppy. These imperfections can be removed much in the same way as skin imperfections, often using the same tools.

The photos in a set should be consistent from one picture to the next to ensure a natural flow through the whole set. Use Light Room to make the necessary changes. This will allow you to batch edit and keep adjustments consistent across the whole set.

Don’t resize, submit the photos at the resolution they were shot at, which should be the highest resolution available in your camera.

Instructions will be provided upon approval as a photographer.

We’ll take care of putting the logos/watermark on the images after you submit them.

If the set calls for it we will accept special effects but they must be done effectively. If you can’t do it without it looking cheesy or forced…. don’t do it.

BURLESQUE/NERDLESQUE FAQS

MyGeekGlory may work a little different than most of the troupes you may have worked with before.   We are a touring troupe; in most cases we travel as a complete team with our established and vetted performers.   These performers are chosen from our pool of existing Deities from the website.   Not all of our Deities perform, but all of our regular performers model for the site.  We also have have Deities who perform on their own across the country at festivals and shows.

The short answer is Yes;  that’s your best way way to be considered for inclusion on our Event Team/Troupe.  Posing on the website does not guarantee a spot.   We have quality requirements for the photosets we accept from Deities;  we also have requirements including pitches and act reviews that are required for our performers.

We respect that.  MyGeekGlory is all about celebrating nerds and geeks; more importantly we are all about celebrating diversity and consent.   We wouldn’t want anyone doing something they aren’t comfortable with.  If you aren’t comfortable with full nudity then a re-occuring place on our Event Team/Troupe may not be the best option for you.

As a traveling troupe performing mainly at Conventions we are often con-goers first foray into Burlesque.   Sometimes, when the situation allows, we look at spotlighting or featuring performer(s) from the local scene.   That way ConGoers are introduced to local talent they can follow year round.   These slots are not always available.   When they  are they are generally extremely limited (1 to 2 performances/acts per convention).

When we are able to offer such opportunities local performers will need to be vetted to ensure they meet the same requirements as the rest of our performers.  This includes both for performance abilities and general nerdy/geekiness.  Our Deities are Geeks First and Sexy Sirens Second.   If you are are a traditional burlesque performer first and foremost without much interest in fandoms we may not be the right option for each other.

Guest performers will always be announced as guest performers, however, we can’t control the assumptions that fans can and will make.   There is a good chance at least some people who see a show with a guest performer will assume they appear nude on the site.

We can’t control these assumptions.  If it’s a concern we recommend that you reconsider applying for a guest slot if one is available in your area.

Performers will always be compensated just like our Deities, Photographers and Editors are compensated on the site.   We never expect anyone to work for free.    Exact compensation package can vary based on a number of factors but will always be discussed before commitments are made.
