It’s been a long year. Tomorrow will be officially 1 year since MyGeekGlory has had any in person events.
As some of you may know, we launched MyGeekGlory mere weeks before the pandemic hit and everything shut down. We’ve worked hard this last year to keep everything going and keep producing sets; and for the most part we have succeeded.
As we find ourselves nearing what will hopefully be the end of our forced isolation things have gotten tight. Social media makes it harder every day for anything that is considered SW to grow and advertise; and the lack of in person cons is finally starting to take a toll.
We have been very adamant with our Deities that they not shoot unless they feel safe so we’ve also been publishing sets mostly from our backlog and that backlog is getting smaller and smaller.
For these reasons we are forced with making a hard decision. It will be temporary, and hopefully as things bounce back short lived.
Moving forward we will be publishing 3 Femme Sets and 1 Masc Set per month, instead of 5 sets total. This small adjustment will make sure we don’t have to pressure anyone to shoot unless they are ready and make sure everyone continues to get paid in a timely fashion.
You might be wondering if there is anything you can do to help; after all you guys are awesome. If you are willing you can spread the word. Tell your friends about us and what they are missing, share our social media posts when you can and join us on Twitch as we work to grow the brand. Every little bit helps.
We appreciate each and every one of you. It is our hope that everything will be back to normalish soon and it won’t be too long until we can see at least some of you in person again.
